World Chess Championship Game 10

Today's game was DRAWN, meaning Magnus Carlsen is the new WORLD CHAMPION. It must be said that it was a good game today, and fought to the bitter end.

World Chess Championship Game 9

It seems the match is all but over after Carlsen WINS again to take a 3 game lead with 3 games to play. To Anand's credit, he came out fighting and had his chances, but Magnus defended accurately and Anand overreached himself and eventually lost when his attack fizzled out.

World Chess Championship Game 8

Another DRAW, and a rather boring game as well! If Anand is to have any chance, he will have to show greater fighting spirit with only four games to go.

Tomorrow is a rest day.

World Chess Championship Game 7

Yesterday's seventh game was DRAWN. Anand had his second white in a row, but neither player was able to secure any advantage, and the peace treaty was signed after 32 moves. At least Anand has stopped his losing streak, but he only has five games to claw back his deficit, and only two with the white pieces.
